Spicy Jalapeno Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2–3 fresh jalapeños, finely diced (seeds removed for milder heat)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped cilantro, sliced jalapeños, or paprika
  • Chiquita Scoops Plantain Chips

Directions

  1. Mix the base:
    In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add flavor:
    Stir in the diced jalapeños, garlic, lime juice, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  3. Add cheese:
    Fold in the shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
  4. Season:
    Taste and season with salt and black pepper as needed.
  5. Chill or serve:
    Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for best flavor, or serve immediately if desired.

Garnish and serve:Garnish with cilantro or extra jalapeños and serve with Chiquita Scoops Plantain Chips.
